Congratulations! What an exciting time in the life of your growing family! I know first-hand all of the sentimental emotions you encounter as you prepare to welcome this new little one, trying to soak up every last moment of it just being you and your husband, or being a family of 3, 4, etc. A maternity session is such a great way to document and treasure your family as it is in those last several weeks before a new baby makes his or her arrival and everything changes.

I also know first-hand that when you’re pregnant, you don’t always feel your best and can feel self-conscious about all the changes your body is going through. My job is to highlight your best features, show off that bump, and show you how beautiful you really are! I look forward to celebrating this new little life and the gift they are to you and your family.

MATERNITY session details:

I recommend maternity sessions take place when you are between 32 and 36 weeks. It is best to book as early as possible in your pregnancy to ensure availability.

During our consultation, we will discuss your vision for this session, potential locations (in-studio or outdoor), and wardrobe options for you and your family.

Your maternity session will yield a variety of both posed and candid portraits and include immediate families or up to 5 people.

Sessions generally last 45-60 minutes, which is the ideal amount of time for families with little ones, and will take place in-studio or at an agreed upon location within 20 miles of Bridgewater, VA.
All outdoor sessions are scheduled approximately 1 hour prior to sunset for best lighting.
Upon booking, you will receive a preparation guide which includes helpful tips to ensure a stress-free session.
